Description

And this is where I ramble on about why I picked these ten. This is not the order in which I like them with the Exception of Wind Waker. That's my favorite game ever. The rest are just my favorites in general. I tried to limit myself to one game per series or I'd have half the list full of Zelda games and the other with Ace Attorney. I wanted to be a little more diverse than that. Now onward to explanations!

1) Legend of Zelda Wind Waker: My favorite game of the Zelda series as well as, well ever. This was the first Zelda game I've ever played and fell in love with Zelda on the day I got it. I would play this everyday and going on an adventure to save my sister and later on, Zelda. The music is great, some humorous scenes, as well as a talking boat =3 I can go on but I won't stop if I do ^^; The game is just...asdghjkl;ljfsasdhkl;lkfs~!!!!1111!!

2) Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations: I got into the Ace Attorney series after hearing about the crossover game coming out with Phoenix and Layton. I decided to play all the games from both series to understand the crossover game since the game looked amazing! Trials and Tribulations s the only AA game where I can play all of the cases and never get tired of it where in the other games, I always hated Turnabout #3 and the other games (DO NOT get me started on the 3rd case in Justice for All... migraines....ugh) I love Godot. He ties with Edgeworth for favorite prosecutor and he had his own theme! I mean the other prosecutors (expect Payne) Had their own theme, but I loved Godot's the most. Not to mention you get to play as Edgeworth for a bit in the last case! Godot's back story is sad as well. Makes me hate certain people. The music is also really awesome.

3) Professor Layton and the Unwound Future: I have a few ways of deciding what is my favorite game/book/movie/whatever. The top rule is if the game/movie/whatever makes me cry, it's an automatic favorite. (it takes A LOT to make me cry) And boy did this game make me cry at the end! There was angst and sadness and THE FEELS! Poor Layton, man! Damn! Anyway, I got into this series for the same reason as Ace Attorney. You get a letter from Luke's future self saying there's trouble in the future. After a bus ride and some puzzles, you step into a time machine (which is a clock shop) and get sent to London 10 years in the future. I mainly play this game for the plot, but I still love the puzzles...even if I need a walk through on half of them. But this game introduce my second favorite villain in the series plus has a nice soundtrack. And they made a machine gun out of a slot machine that shoots coins! That was one of the puzzles in fact! It's awesome.

4) Ib: Thanks to PewDiePie and Cry, I got into free RPG horror games for the PC even though I'm a huge chicken when it comes to anything involving horror. This was the first one I got into. Ib is a game where you are a 9 year old girl named Ib visiting an art gallery with her parents while in the gallery, you find a painting. Soon after, everyone disappears and the lights turn off. You make your way through the gallery into a warped world where artwork comes to life. It's more plot orientated than jump-scare orientated, so if you don't do so well with jump scares like me, this game may be for you. Music is good here too. There are 7 endings; 1 true ending, 2 good endings(depending on how you look at it) 1 alternative ending and 3 bad endings. Garry is hot and Mary is a bitch. I'll just leave it there. Mary fans, don't kill me.

5) Mad Father: Another Horror RPG, this takes place in Germany and you're an 11 year old girl named Aya who's father is a mad scientist that does experiments on people and animals. One night, a curse is put on the corpses and kidnap your father. You job is to save your father while you have flashbacks of your dead mother and father. It's a good game with jump scares and an actual plot! There are 4 Endings; 1 true ending, 1 good ending, and 2 bad endings.

6)Super Mario RPG: I'm not that big on Mario, but this game is one of the exceptions. Nintendo and Square Enix teamed up to create this game. It includes your beloved Mario characters (sorry Luigi) as well as some of Square Enix's characters like Geno, Mallow (2 of Mario's teammates in the game) and Culex (the final boss from Final Fantasy 4) Some humorous dialogue and great music. If you love RPGs, I recommend it.

7) Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: At first I got this game because of the cover art. As I began to play, I realized I was hooked! The story really touched me (I didn't cry though) and the characters were great! The game is based around the time Sora was sleeping, trying regain his memories. You play his nobody, Roxas and do the missions he did for Organization XIII. 358/2 represents the amount of days Roxas spent with Organization XIII. It's a great game. Though there was this one part that made me face palm... *sigh* Oh Roxas...

8) Kid Icarus Uprising: Not only did this game have somewhat corny humor Nintendo fans would get and the land controls made my thumb and pointer feel stretched out for a few days, this was pretty cool. You play an angel named Pit who can only fly for a limited time thanks to the goddess Palutena and you fight enemies. There's an actual plot that involves Medusa, aliens and Dark Pit, but it can kind of be confusing. The game is not bad, just the controls for when you're on earth can be a pain. There's a reason the game came with a 3DS stand.

9) Soul Caliber 2- Gamecube Version: The Gamecube Version is mentioned since that's the version I played as a kid. It's a nice fighting game where you can pick from an array of characters an fight. There's something with the Soul Caliber, but I never really understood it since the last time I played this was a few years ago... I can hear the Soul Caliber fans face palming and are probably hating me right now...I don't really know what else to say... I was always Talim for some reason.

10) Misao: Last be not least, another Horror RPG game! It's made by the same company as Mad Father. It kind of takes some aspects from Corpse Party like the school has been sucked into another dimension because of a curse. But instead of the cause being from a good luck charm, it's because a girl named Misao who disappeared 3 months prior to the game is angered by the people who caused her untimely death. You play a girl named Aki and you have to find her body parts and sacrifice them to the alter. There are more jump scares in this game than Mad Father, but a plot is present. There are 2 endings; one good and one bad. After beating the game once, you can then unlock the true ending. I've heard of a version where you play the male version of Aki, but I don't know how to do that. Hmm...

And that's it! If you read all of that, Sorry for rambling for so long ^^;
